Samantha Chez-Magbanua – Characteristics of a highly effective English teacher

An English Teacher Samantha Chez-Magbanua suggested that for becoming an English teacher you must bear a character of 4’s that include Imagination, Innovativeness, Interaction and Independent thinking.

As it is said that “imagination is more important than knowledge” therefore an English teacher should be imaginative who can do wonders in the English class and their new ideas can break the boredom and help the students to present an active participation in the class. Samantha Chez-Magbanua further suggested that the teachers who are imaginative can teach any language skill interestingly and effectively. They can develop student’s creative self-expression very well. Samantha Chez further suggested that the students like teacher who are innovative enough in bringing several changes and new ideas to the society, courageous enough to do something different and unique, going off the track in order to be on the track and experimenting new things.

Samantha chez- Magbanua says that the teacher who promotes interaction in the English class does justice to their students by helping them in developing their communication skills. They motivate their students in order to create opportunities for them to interact with one another through several activities that include role plays, group discussions, mock interviews and many more. An English teacher must possess an independent thinking approach that helps their students in developing the desire and ability to think on their own. Samantha Magbanua says that an independent thinker teacher contributes a lot in developing the students thinking skills.
